If you are not familiar with German food, here is some information you may find helpful:

Sauerbraten: Beef marinated in vinegar and spices then oven roasted.
Braised Beef: Beef cut into strips, braised with onions, then seasoned just right in sour-cream gravy.
Wiener or Hühnerschnitzel: Pork or Chicken, breaded and fried.
Hunter Gravy: A gravy with mushrooms, onions and spices.
Gyspy Gravy: A gravy with red and green peppers, onions and spices.
Kassler: Pork loin soaked in salt brine, pressure-cooked and smoked.
Rouladen: Sliced beef rolled with bacon, onions and spices.
Liver Dumplings: A mixture of ground beef, liver, eggs, flour and seasonings.
East Prussian Dumplings: Ground beef and pork with special spices, eggs and flour.
Spätzle: Homemade noodles made with eggs, flour and salt.
Rolled Pork Roast: Roast with salt, pepper, onions, garlic and rubbed sage packed inside.
Eisbein: Icebein fresh pork shank marinated and cooked in special spices.
